A new product by the innovation kings, Google that has been in beta since March 2009, so you know it is going to be good. And yes, it was definitely worth the wait.
I’m talking about Google’s AdWords Remarketing feature which is a type of behavioural targeting that allows you to connect with users who have, in the past, performed some pre-defined action on your site.
Here is an example to make it easier for everyone:
Suppose you are a travel agent. A user comes to your site and looks at a holiday package in Tahiti, adds it to their shopping cart, but doesn’t actually complete the purchase. Imagine if in the next few days you could put an ad of tropical Tahitian beaches and hammocks in front of them to help them with their decision.
Well, that would be fantastic! And the best part is that is exactly what you can do with Google Remarketing!
